GRAB THE RING
To launch Uncharted 3, Sony PlayStation's biggest franchise, we developed a contest that would test the gaming community's most critical skill: how long they could sit still in front of a screen.
The first video explains the competition in detail, but here are the nuts and bolts. Gamers went to our site, activated their webcam, and positioned their fingers around the image of a ring. Then they sat for as long as possible without moving. At all. Whoever lasted the longest won $10K. Oh, and just to throw them off their game, Sony's wise-cracking spokesman taunted them the entire time.
Gamers played. Gamers cheated. And one lazy piece of shit sat there for almost 24 hours.
